fixes. Dieting usually causes binges and cravings, which
leads to overeating. What is it to be, a life with no sugar,
bread, potatoes, and pasta, or one with no butter, cheese,
oil and meat? Fats and carbohydrates are two of the three
vital categories of macronutrients necessary for optimal
health. The third is protein.
The weight loss from dieting is generally because you have
cut something out of your diet, whether it is cutting carbs,
sugar or fat, resulting in consuming fewer calories. Are
you really going to cut major macronutrients out of your
life forever?
The bottom line is “calories in -- calories out”.
You will gain weight from eating more calories than your
body burns or expends through exercise, whether they come
from protein, fat or carbohydrate. It is all about lifestyle
choices.
